It's the lightest Vaporfly in the franchise's history — up to 10% lighter than the Vaporfly 3 — thanks to a simultaneous reduction in foam, outsole, and upper. The ZoomX foam PEBA midsole runs from heel to forefoot with an updated Flyplate curvature for more efficient energy transfer with each push. The drop is reduced to 6 mm — lower than the Vaporfly 3 — for more direct ground contact and more natural propulsion across all distances from 5K to marathon. The engineered knit mesh upper offers an almost absent feel on the foot, breathable and fitted, with the oversized Swoosh diving from the upper to the midsole in the same graphic gesture as the Alphafly 3. The thinned rubber outsole under the forefoot maximizes traction during push-off while minimizing weight.
